Trevor Chan, DVM
Emergency & Critical Care Resident
Dr. Chan completed his undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University and earned his veterinary degree from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. During veterinary school, he worked as a student technician in the Emergency Service of Cornell University Hospital for Animals, where he fell in love with the specialty and the diverse cases and patients. He completed an internship at the University of Pennsylvania, where he received the PennVet Best Intern Award. He is also the 2020 recipient of the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society (VECCS) Award for Proficiency in Emergency and Critical Care. Dr. Chan joined CUVS in 2021 to pursue a 3-year intensive specialty residency program in Emergency and Critical Care.
Dr. Chan enjoys working within the human-animal bond and strives to serve as an advocate for his patients. He always enjoys taking the time to educate his patients’ families about their pet’s disease processes to help them make the best decisions for them.
