Dr. Forman joins CUVS as former staff internist in a large private specialty practice where he was involved in collaborative studies with veterinarians at Cornell University, the Ohio State University and University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine, and Idexx Laboratories. In addition to his focus on gastroenterology, Dr. Forman is trained in endocrinology, pancreatology, pulmonology, immunology, hematology, critical care medicine, nutrition, and management of infectious disease. In additional to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Forman has published various studies and has continued his research in pancreatitis and manuscripts evaluating the next generation of feline and canine pancreatitis blood tests, Spec fPL and cPL, respectively, which are currently pending. Dr. Forman has lectured throughout the United States on multiple Internal Medicine topics including pancreatitis, acute and chronic kidney diseases, canine liver disease and nasal disorders, Cushing's syndrome, and Diabetes Mellitus. Since 2009 Dr. Forman has participated in the ACVIM Small Animal Internal Medicine Forum Program Committee.
