Associate Veterinary Criticalist, Cornell University Veterinary Specialists

Dr. Dreese received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed an internship, followed by a residency in Emergency and Critical Care, at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. She joined CUVS in 2026. 

Dr. Dreese is interested in all aspects of critical care, with special focus in respiratory disease and mechanical ventilation in which she has published research. She actively seeks opportunities to implement evidence-based practices and contribute to the evolving landscape of veterinary critical care.

Dr. Dreese strives to elevate the standard of care while making a meaningful impact on the lives of both patients and their families. She is devoted to delivering exceptional, compassionate care to each patient, and also to supporting and educating these families during some of their most challenging moments.
