Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation

The Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation service is focused on improving and maintaining your pet’s mobility and comfort. CUVS is proud to be one of the few institutions in the country that offer this service at a specialty level.
This service specializes in the non-surgical, non-invasive diagnosis of mobility issues, pain management, conditioning, and injury prevention. We have many options for diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal injuries, providing targeted pain management, facilitating recovery, and maintaining quality of life in numerous conditions.
The benefits of post-operative care and rehabilitation for many orthopedic and neurologic injuries have been well established. CUVS does not currently offer rehabilitation, but we work closely with other specialties at CUVS or outside therapists to assist in your pet’s rehabilitation and recovery.
