Remembering Cleo by Karen, CUVS Veterinary Technician Assistant, ECC

“Cleo came into my life almost 16 years ago. At the time, I was looking to adopt another cat and had always wanted an orange tabby. I was excited when I found out that my local cat rescue group had a litter of orange tabby kittens for adoption. After applying and getting accepted as a prospective adopter, I headed over to the foster home to select my kitten.

While playing with the litter of orange tabby kittens, out of nowhere, an adorable black and white kitten hopped up onto my shoulder! One look at her precious little face, and it was love at first sight. I told the foster mother that this was the kitten I wanted to adopt. She had picked me, and it could not have been a better match.

It has been a true privilege and blessing to have Cleo in my life. She is sweet, loving and has completely stolen my heart. Everyone who meets Cleo can’t help but adore her just like I do!”

Note: Sadly, Cleo recently passed away, but Karen still wanted her story to be told in loving memory. xoxo
